Staines Health Centre

The Boiler House refurbishment includes a three boiler cascade system. The pipework arrangement includes traditional headers with primary and secondary pumping arrangements serving 3 no. variable temperature circuits serving existing heat emitters a three zone heating system which incorporates mainly LST Radiators.

The Reception area is treated independently with new ceiling mounted fan convectors plus new extract fans located in three roof lights. The new pipework installation is installed within purpose made boxing as the majority of the health centre does not have ceiling voids.

The existing galvanised underground water main was also replaced with blue MDPE pipework with a compliant incoming water valving and metering arrangement which was installed by moling the new pipework from the external stop cock around the building with a short run of internal pipework to the boiler house.

The works package also included the refurbishment of both the disabled WC and the Ladies WC plus a new sub-mains from the LV Switchroom to the boiler house.
