Middlebrook Centre, Winchester

The accommodation comprises 700 seat auditorium including balcony level, a conference suite (capacity 100 theatre style or 50 conference style), boardrooms / meeting rooms (maximum capacity 60 theatre style or 35 conference style), reception, commercial kitchen and welfare facilities.

The extensive building modernisation included the complete replacement of the electrical services which were also upgraded. This included:

• Specialist stage lighting and audio visual systems installation
• Intruder alarm
• Entry phone / access control system
• Induction loop
• Disabled WC alarm
• Lightning protection

The mechanical services works included:

• New room sealed gas fired condensing boilers together with new pipework distribution system and heat emitters throughout
• Modifications to the domestic water services including trace heating on of the hot water pipework
• New facilities for the commercial kitchen including specialist ventilation requirements
• General ventilation improvements made throughout the building
