Conifers Refurbishment, Caterham-Dene Hospital

The project incorporated the refurbishment of the Conifers Building to provide a Community Mental Health Recovery Service. This is an integrated health and social care provision focusing specifically on adults with severe and enduring mental health problems.

The accommodation provides Clinical Rooms, Consulting Rooms, Meeting Rooms, Group Room, office areas, reception and waiting areas plus kitchen, shower and toilet areas.

Within these areas the mechanical and electrical services have been completely replaced including:

Ceiling mounted radiant panel heating integrated into new lay in grid ceilings
New LV switchboard, associated sub-mains wiring and new lighting/small power distribution board
Boiler house refurbishment
Access control system
CCTV
Staff attack system/Nurse call system
Fire alarm and detection system
