The building and its mechanical and electrical services are designed to achieve CfSH level 4 with an aspiration of level 5 for energy efficiency and use. To this end the following facilities and strategy are intended to be incorporated:
The ground floor accommodation incorporates; entrance lobby, bicycle store, bin store, plant rooms including transformer chamber, office and stores.
The first floor incorporates studio apartments plus student study, gymnasium, recreation areas and laundry. The upper floors incorporate studio apartments.
