Demiurgic Consulting Engineers have carried out numerous projects within 1/2, Broadgate a major City of London landmark building comprising 32,000 sq.m of high quality office accommodation with 2 no. atria. In 2007 the building office accommodation was refitted with the majority of the floors having been stripped back to shell and core prior to refitting.

The Practice acted as peer Consultant for the superior tenant on two major fit outs comprising the following:

ICAP – Ground floor North, 4th, 5th and 6th floor South including 2 no. communications equipment.
UBS – Ground floor South, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor rooms.

Demiurgic Consulting Engineers acted as Building Services Consultants for the following projects:

6th floor south, speculative floor refit (now occupied by ICAP)
7th floor north, refit for KBW
Replacement/additional cooling towers (17 no.), condenser water pumps and supplementary chiller
Replacement of ATS LV switchgear
7th floor south west, refurbishment of conference centre and kitchen facilities
7th floor south east, office refurbishments for TAL and Libero
Core areas fire alarm/detection, PAVA and emergency lighting upgrades
BMS/controls upgrade
North atrium conference rooms
Pump replacement and tanks refurbishment/replacement
Atria, toilets and car parks ventilation plant replacement
Fresh air enhancements
Reprographics facility
Enterprise laboratory and communications equipment rooms
Sprinkler system upgrade
